When students are not sure they belong in a class or on campus, they may struggle to be academically successful. There are things we can do in our classrooms and other learning settings to nurture students' sense of belonging.
This course gives educators a foundation in the history, key terms, and politics of neurodiversity - paired with first-person perspectives and real classroom case studies to ground the concepts in practice. Participants will leave with clear strategies for designing more neurodiversity-affirming learning environments and inclusive course experiences.
