Discover effective ways to engage faculty and gain support from key influencers as center directors share success strategies in this resource on high-impact engagement practices.

Created in collaboration with

Every center needs to engage faculty, but what works for you and in the culture of your institution will be different from others. Some center directors swear by learning communities, while others find them difficult to run in practice. So what are some of the things that work well in different contexts? In this course, we talk to directors of Centers for Teaching and Learning (CTL) about their top five high-impact engagement practices that worked in their institutions.

This course is led by Chris Hakala and C. Edward Watson with contributions from James M. Lang and Todd D. Zakrajsek. It is part of a series on Pathway to Success: Getting Started as a Leader of Teaching and Learning Development.
