As faculty and the Chair of the Teaching and Learning Center at Aims Community College, USA. Carole is passionate about faculty professional development that centers on creating equitable and learner-centered pedagogical approaches. As an Anatomy and Physiology faculty member, she is always seeking new strategies and tools to engage students and to bring lived student experiences into the classroom. Carole seeks to immerse faculty in various professional growth opportunities including the development of leadership skills to enforce team-building and authentic leadership approaches for emerging leaders. Through her work, Carole prioritises community-building and establishing rapport with students and faculty alike with the goal of fostering a sense of belonging and a supportive learning environment.

Carole has a B.S in Biology with a minor in Education from the American University of Beirut, and a doctorate in Neuroscience from Florida State University.
