Tips For Increasing Engagement In Discussions


This recourse has been created in collaboration with Maha Bali, Associate Professor of Practice at the Center for Learning and Teaching at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
The tips are divided into two types: ones you can do immediately if you’re in a discussion, and those that need a little more preparation but not too much you can probably do them tomorrow or next week. And why not keep the image close to hand for when there is a lull in classroom conversation? You can then try a new tip each time.
