Many of us all dread marking time. Hours writing comment after comment on students work. Will they even read it? Maybe I should have another glass of wine! If this sounds like you, don’t worry, it is a challenge for all of us to provide useful and timely feedback to students, especially with strict timelines. This session will cover alternative approaches and ways that build engagement and a sense of community with our students, whilst being sure to be rigorous enough to be useful and meet our requirements as academics.
This session will be facilitated by Chris Hope. Chris is a Management Lecturer at RMIT University and a research student at the University of Cambridge. He has worked with a number of universities as an advisor on creating engaging education outcomes and delivers online course content to students at both the University of Adelaide and University of Melbourne.
