Many of us remember all too clearly our first teaching experience in higher education: a mixture of trepidation and excitement, hopefully a legacy of exhilaration and not dread! But for many educators starting out, it’s a bit like walking a tightrope without a safety net. You’re an accomplished learner, so you must be a great teacher, right?
To help new educators get off on the right foot, we’re delighted to introduce a series of resource bundles covering the major trends and techniques in teaching. Each bundle is a reading list of the key resources, many of which can be accessed on Google Scholar.
The bundles are the contribution of Tracey Tokuhama-Espinosa, a Professor from the Harvard University Extension School. Tracey is a leading neuroscientist specialising in the science of learning.
