Niya Bond is a faculty developer at OneHE and advising editor for Feminist Pedagogy for Teaching Online, specialises in empowering and engaging pedagogies, particularly in digital spaces. Niya has actively facilitated asynchronous, community-based online educator experiences, focusing on emerging pedagogies such as generative AI, belonging & inclusiveness, OER resources, and active learning. As an online adjunct educator and writer, Niya contributes to the evolving landscape of digital education. Her work extends to public scholarship in feminist pedagogy, pedagogical play, online learner engagement, and educator self-care. Currently, she is also pursuing a PhD in Higher Education at the University of Maine, researching support systems for online adjunct women faculty. She is a co-author of ‘Feminist Pedagogy for Teaching Online‘.
