Ahmed Elgebaly is an Arabic as a foreign language teacher at the Department of Teaching Contemporary Arabic at the French Institute in Cairo, Egypt. He is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. Ahmed is the author of a book about media Arabic, which focuses on collocations and synonyms through the study of recent news articles that are grouped across a range of themes.
