How to Review and Improve Your Course for a Better Student Experience

This course shares practical hands-on ways of thinking about continuous improvement in the context of your course content and approaches to teaching and learning.

This course has been developed with Dawn Marie Gilmore from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Online, Australia, and it includes short videos, activities, and discussion prompts. When completed you will:

  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to reviewing and improving your course.
  • Evaluate student feedback by triangulating it with appropriate evidence to inform course improvements and enhancements for your students.
  • Categorise your course improvements and enhancements by creating a change log that prioritises immediate action and a backlog for future work.
