Creating a Learner-Centered Syllabus

In this course you will learn how to create a learner-centred syllabus by exploring how to put students and their ability to learn at the center of your teaching activities.

This course has been developed with Dr Erik Blair from Queen Mary University of London, UK. It includes short videos, activities, and discussion prompts. When completed you will:

  • Identify the ecosystem of learning in general, and in your own classroom.
  • Critique and apply strategies that seek to place your learners at the core of the learning experience.
  • Confidently support learners to engage with the syllabus in a deep and meaningful way.
