This course has been developed with Christina Moore from Oakland University, USA, and it includes short videos, activities, and discussion prompts. When completed you will be able to:
- Explain how Universal Design for Learning (UDL) emerged from learning sciences research and disability rights advocacy, and describe its core commitment to proactive, inclusive design.
- Apply the three UDL principles (engagement, representation, and action and expression) to identify new opportunities in your current teaching practices.
- Plan one or two UDL-inspired options to your existing teaching practices, drawing on input from your students and support from university resources.
