Karina Alonso

Karina Alonso is an independent English language instructor from Phoenix, USA. She has implemented language instruction through various formal and informal settings with students ranging from children to adults. She has developed materials and taught for both English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses, conducted teacher training workshops. Karina was also the co-founder of “Let’s Talk”, a pilot English as a Second Language (ESL) program in southwestern Arizona. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Linguistics and Global Studies from Arizona State University, and is currently pursuing an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
