Fufy is a Senior Lecturer in Primary and Early Years Education at Sheffield Hallam University. She is a registered SAPERE (Society for the Advancement of Philosophical Enquiry and Reflection in Education) level 1 trainer in Philosophical Approaches to Teaching and Learning and currently has responsibility for coordinating the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) network for the Early Years Community and Research Centre at the Meadow nursery, Sheffield, UK. Her research interests are mainly focussed on how teaching and learning through a community of enquiry approach shapes learners’ engagement.
