Felecia Caton Garcia is the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Central New Mexico Community College, USA. Prior to this role, she served as faculty in American Studies, Chicanx Studies, English, and Creative Writing. Felecia holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of New Mexico and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Oregon. Her book of poetry, Say That, is available from the University of New Mexico Press. She lives in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico with an array of cats, dogs, and gardens.
