Instructional consultant Eric Metzler works with business faculty to help improve, refine, or perfect their teaching performance. In 2002, he and a colleague created Indiana University’s Course Development Institute, which has helped hundreds of instructors over the years to design, develop, or revise their courses using a systematic backward course design model. Eric also co-created the Kelley School’s assurance of learning initiative aimed at helping business faculty make data-driven decisions about curricula, instruction, and programming. Eric regularly teaches an interdisciplinary seminar to college seniors, the newest iteration of which will focus on memoirs of transformation.
