Whether you have an official seat in leadership meetings, or you work in an operations-level setting, your voice matters when it comes to inclusive design for online and technology-mediated learning at your institution. It may sound counter-intuitive, but when we advocate for ways to lower technology barriers for everyone, we clear the way to be able to spend more of our energy on individual supports where they will do the most good. We also make it more likely that our colleagues will come to us when they encounter barriers themselves.
