
Karen Arm
Karen Arm is a Senior Lecturer in Learning and Teaching at Southampton Solent University in the UK, specialising in research-led pedagogy. She is the Course Leader for the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods for doctoral students and leads the research module on the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education for staff.
Karen also coordinates university-wide initiatives to enhance learning, teaching, and assessment through research-informed practices. Her main research interests lie in the fields of inclusion and equity in higher education, with a particular focus on social class mobility.
