The Wheel of Life provides a snapshot of your wellbeing and the level of satisfaction in your current circumstances.

ACTIVITY PURPOSE

The Wheel of Life provides a snapshot of your wellbeing and the level of satisfaction in your current circumstances.

USEFUL FOR

Students can make their own at the beginning of the semester, choosing their own categories, and make commitments to improve some areas of their lives, revising periodically throughout the semester.

PREPARATION

Not a lot. Just explaining to students the concept and how to use the tool.

INSTRUCTIONS

Encourage students to create their own wheels and explore areas they can improve (they need not share with the whole class).

DURATION

Variable – maybe half an hour independent work.

ADAPTATIONS AND EXAMPLES

Students can choose to work together as buddies on it, or discuss it with family members or friends.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

None. They can do it on paper.
