Anna Conway is an experienced higher education leader, administrator and professor at Des Moines Area Community College, USA. Anna started teaching as an adjunct in 2000 and has served as the Inaugural Director of a Teaching & Learning Center for 7 years. As Chair of the Education, Communication and Humanities Pathway, she currently oversees three departments and collaborates closely with faculty, students, and staff at Des Moines Area Community College. Her research interests focus on the impact of innovative instructional methods, student engagement, professional development for adjunct faculty, inclusive teaching, and equity-minded course design. Anna is an active contributor to scholarly publications and discussions on topics of supporting contingent faculty in higher education, pioneering teaching methodologies, advancing faculty development, and educational leadership. Anna is also one of the content developers for the Inclusive STEM Teaching Project.
