Cynthia P. Stewart (M.Div., PhD) is the Director of Experiential Learning within the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health at Loyola University Chicago, USA. She teaches experiential learning, academic internship, and University 101 courses. Cynthia is a member of National Society of Experiential Education (NSEE) where she completed and received a Certificate in Experiential Learning Academy (EEA). She is a member of following higher education organisations: the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE); the Coalition for Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU) and the Association for University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). She is Assistant Editor for Metropolitan Universities Journal under CUMU, where she reviewed journal submissions, published two articles, and has presented them at higher education conferences. She is currently working with OneHE (UK) in conjunction with NSEE and Loyola University Chicago – Center for Learning, Teaching and Scholarship, developing an online educational tool for educators in the area of Experiential Learning. Cynthia was recently elected Secretary of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) Community Engaged Learning Professionals Conference.
