Prof Marcus O’Donnell is the Provost at Navitas Careers & Industry, Australia. Marcus oversees of teaching and learning innovation and academic governance across Navitas Higher Education Institutes. Prior to this he was Director, Cloud Learning Futures at Deakin University, Australia, where he led a number of innovation projects in course renewal and digital learning. He was also formerly Program Convenor of the Journalism Program at the University of Wollongong and has 20+ years of industry experience as a journalist editor and community educator. His research interests include digital learning, contemplative pedagogies, and the integration of resilience and mental health into higher education curriculum.
