Tina R. Olson

Tina R. Olson is University of Missouri (MU), USA, and an adjunct management instructor at the Trulaske College of Business at MU. Prior to her current role, Tina was a faculty member in the Plaster School of Business at Columbia College, USA. She brings extensive HR/Management/Non-profit experience to the classroom. Tina has taught online, in-person, and in a high flex model during the pandemic. She is passionate about learning and the development of students and is a self-described nerd on integrating evidence-based practices into her teaching. James Lang’s work from Small Teaching has heavily influenced her success in the classroom. In addition, Tina’s is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a first-generation college student, she works to remove barriers for students. 

Tina has a BA in Political Science from The University of Iowa, a MEd from Washington State University, an MBA from Stephens College, and a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University. Her dissertation research focused on the transition from higher education administrator to faculty.
