Tina R. Olson serves on the faculty at Columbia College, USA as a faculty member in the Plaster School of Business. She brings extensive HR/Management/Non-profit experience to the classroom. Tina has taught online, in-person, and in a high flex model during the pandemic. She is passionate about learning and the development of students and is a self-described nerd on integrating evidence-based practices into her teaching. James Lang’s work from Small Teaching has heavily influenced her success in the classroom. In addition, Tina’s is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a first-generation college student, she works to remove barriers for students. 

Tina has a BA in Political Science from The University of Iowa, a MEd from Washington State University, an MBA from Stephens College, and a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University. Her dissertation research focused on the transition from higher education administrator to faculty.
