Understanding a student's learning journey in a course is essential to crafting the best learning experience for them. In this session Maria will share tips on how to create learning journey maps and evaluate the 'pain points' together with other ideas to improve the student experience based on their feedback.

Maria has worked in academia for 10 years. As an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she has taught Marketing and Business courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a variety of methods (online, in person, mixed/ blended learning). Maria completed her PhD in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour from Griffith University, Australia. Her research expertise is consumer behaviour, and she would like to bring the concept of customer journey mapping into the learning experience.
