#Betterteaching hub – community-driven, practically focused

The #betterteaching hub is a new resource driven by and for the OneHE community.

The #betterteaching hub is a new resource driven by and for the OneHE community. At one level, it’s a searchable index of articles, papers and resources relevant to different aspects of teaching in higher education. At another, it’s an evolving resource to help educators everywhere find the most relevant and useful materials to develop their practice. That’s because the hub is not a static resource but a dynamic one which adapts in response to contributions from members.

At its core are the 200 essential teaching terms every educator needs to understand, such as constructive alignment or flipped classroom. There are short videos to explain each concept, crowd-sourced resources and links to the top cited journal articles from the last ten years. Members can add their own terms or themes, suggest materials and rate resources for usefulness. Each interaction, no matter how small, helps other educators know how to get the best from the hub.
